Gluten-Free Friday: Trader Joe’s Snack-O’s

Calling all onion ring lovers!  My Trader Joe’s started stocking a new gluten-free snack version of onion rings called Snack-Os that are amazingly good.

They are light, airy and super crispy, with a nice mild onion flavor and just a hint of sweetness.  One bite and I immediately thought they would be more aptly named Crack-O’s!  It’s very hard to eat just one Smile

A 1-oz serving will set you back 150 calories and 6 grams of fat, so they’re kind of indulgent, but it’s worth every single bite.  And they’re better for you than onion rings!

Sometimes you have to worry about cross contamination with Trader Joe’s even if the bag has their gluten-free symbol, but these were not labeled as made on shared equipment, and I have had no reactions to eating them.

I highly recommend you pick up a bag next time you visit your local TJ’s – you can find them with the potato chips.

Happy snacking!
