And help you remember that life should be enjoyed, not just endured.
And it felt GOOD.
Then I came home, and immediately got caught up in all the things that I felt like I had to do as soon as possible before Sunday ends. Unpacking. Laundry. Litterboxes. Piled up emails. Meal planning. Grocery shopping.
And my stomach started to hurt.
I took that as a very clear sign that I needed to take a step back, and remember that I don’t have to accomplish every single thing I planned.
I still unpacked, started the laundry, took care of my kitties. But I realized that I really need to focus on relaxing and taking care of myself, because it is just as important as my to-do list. Some things can wait.
