Raleigh’s first Gluten-Free Expo is almost here! It’s being held this Sunday at the Cobblestone Hall in downtown Raleigh from 2:30 to 7:30 PM. I’m so excited to be representing Triumph Dining at such a great event, and have been reviewing their guides and dining cards the last few weeks:
Today, I’m featuring the newest addition to Triumph’s product line – the Essential Gluten-Free Baking Guides!
Gluten-free baking can be quite a challenge, often involving a complicated mix of several flour types in an an effort to mimic that light-as-air chewiness that baked goods with gluten have. This guide aims to simplify the process by focusing on only one type of flour at a time to create a wide variety of treats.
Each flour type has a chapter devoted to it – the Part 1 guide covers almond, quinoa, garbanzo, millet and coconut flour. Part 2 covers sweet rice, sorghum, buckwheat, teff, cassava and potato flour.
There are over 50 recipes in each guide covering the spectrum from savory to sweet, such as naan, bagels, cinnamon rolls and snickerdoodles. Along with all the recipes, there are tips from expert gluten-free bakers, recommended brands, information on the various unrefined sugars and more.
I’m going to be offering these guides at the discounted price of $15 each at the expo, or $25 for the set. Not able to make it to the expo? They’re also available on the Triumph website.
If you do come out this weekend, be sure to stop by the Triumph table and say hi – I’m going to be handing out these snazzy stickers for free!
Hope to see you there
