Spoonful Sunday

Sundays are one of my favorite days of the week, since they are usually one of the quietest – we love our Lazy Sunday mornings!  It’s also the final conclusion of the week before a fresh start on Monday morning, and when I start to think about what I need to accomplish in the coming week.  So it seems natural to start Spoonful Sundays, where I reflect on the past spoonful and introduce the next.

This past week I focused on no excuses, particularly when it comes to my workout schedule.  I kept to it, working out 5 days for a total of 185 minutes.  I learned that fitting it in is definitely possible, and I am enjoying the benefits already with a clearer mind and looser body.  Now I just have to continue the momentum and start increasing the length and intensity of the workouts as my endurance and strength improve.

Happy Earth Day, everyone!  In honor of the holiday there are a couple of good freebies being offered.  Don’t forget you can still grab the $2 in free music that I posted yesterday!

  • At Origins stores you can get a free full-size moisturizer when you trade in a bottle of your skincare, empty or otherwise.  That’s a $30 value!  You do need to print and fill out this form to get the freebie.
  • At Target stores you can get a free reusable shopping bag – and it’s pretty cute this year!  They’ve done this every Earth Day for a few years now, and it’s always a different design.  They are good quality too, I still use mine from 2 years ago regularly.

Note that both freebies are while supplies last and in stores only.
